BEFORE & AFTER
Picosecond technology is at the forefront of laser advancements, safely treating all skin types with its ultra-rapid energy delivery that minimizes heat buildup. This innovation enables effective treatments with minimal downtime and fewer side effects than traditional lasers. Key benefits include helping skin regenerate, removing tattoos, age spots, melasma, and pigmented lesions, as well as reducing fine lines and wrinkles for a rejuvenated appearance.
Picosecond lasers are FDA-approved and considered safe for all skin types. However, they are not recommended for patients with epilepsy or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Treatment duration varies by target area, typically lasting 30-45 minutes. Multiple sessions are often necessary to fully resolve concerns, but patients can expect their skin to appear refreshed within two weeks of treatment.
Picosecond lasers generally involve minimal downtime. It is advisable to refrain from engaging in strenuous activities for the first 24 hours following treatment.
Avoid sun exposure for two weeks before and after your treatment. Refrain from using hormone products or functional skincare products for six months surrounding your treatment. On the day following treatment, avoid hot water on the treated area; instead, use warm or cold water and steer clear of hot springs and saunas. For one week post-treatment, avoid spicy foods, seafood, photosensitive foods, and foods rich in Vitamin B and copper ions. If local redness and swelling occur, apply ice promptly and use a moisturizing and repairing mask for a week. Post-treatment, melanin metabolism increases, making sun protection crucial. If scabs form, allow them to fall off naturally to prevent pigmentation issues.
