Enhanced Skin Texture
Reduced Fine Lines and Wrinkles
Improved Skin Tone and Radiance
BEFORE & AFTER
If you have acne scars, surgical scars, scars from traumatic injury, stretch marks, hyperpigmentation and other forms of poor skin tone or texture, you can benefit from a facial enhanced with PRP. The PRP facial can be beneficial to people who have wrinkles, sun damage too. By placing PRP back into the skin, cell proliferation is encouraged. This leads to an increase in elastin and collagen production. As a result, the skin will look tighter, fuller, and smoother.
Because the procedure involves drawing blood and puncturing the skin, more serious complications like scarring, infection, and excessive bleeding can occur. You should not get a PRP facial if you have a history of blood clotting disorders, bleeding disorders, or other blood diseases.
For both face and hair treatments, as well as PRP for medical issues, the results of treatment can last for 1 or 2 years at a time. Again, the time the results of the treatment last depend on many factors outside of your control, such as your age, hormones, and the natural rate of regeneration.
You may have a bit of pain, bruising, and swelling afterwards. These tend to go away within a few days. The biggest risks comes from the way your blood is handled. It’s essential that the blood removed from your body be kept sterile. Otherwise, you could develop an infection.
During consultation you will discuss with the injector your desired outcomes. When you are giving the go ahead for this procedure, we will determine your treatment plan and how many sessions and ongoing treatments you will need to get to your goal. Usually we will suggest 3 sessions 4-6 weeks apart, with a maintenance session of coming back every 6-12 months. We may also suggest other treatments to accompany PRP to help give you the maximum results.
